The Malta facility occupies approximately 3,600 sqm, of which 1,600 sqm is the production, including high flexible pilot plant for scale-up, commercial, finishing area, labs, warehouses, maintenance and offices.
On October 28th 2013 the Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat inaugurated the new production plant.
The multipurpose plant has a capacity of approximately 27,000 reaction liters. The attached finishing area is approximately 450 sqm.
In addition a state of the art micronisation suite has been installed, this has been inspected by the MMA and FDA.
In 2018 work started on a new co-located production facility, next to the existing one.
Work concluded in 2019 with the addition of five production suites, three laboratories, a warehouse and a maintenance facility.
