COMPANY DINNER 2023

Our annual Company Dinner took place on Friday, September 8, 2023, at the "Carapace Winery" in Bevagna. This year, an exceptionally evocative location was chosen to celebrate friendship, our company, and the collective efforts of all of us at Sterling. The "Carapace" is the cellar of Arnaldo Pomodoro, one of the greatest contemporary Italian sculptors. It is the world's first sculpture where one can live and work, a place where art, nature, and sculpture engage in a constant dialogue. Originating from the Lunelli family's dream of having a cellar built as a true "treasure chest" for wine, the Carapace is a modern work that challenges the boundaries between sculpture and architecture. It was born from a study of the surroundings and integrates seamlessly with the environment. The turtle, symbolizing stability and longevity, with its carapace, represents the union between heaven and earth. The choice of this location aligns perfectly with Sterling's deep commitment to nature, which has always been one of the pillars of the company's vision. Even the Solomeo headquarters was born from a project that paid great attention and dedication to studying the surroundings, ensuring that the buildings do not disrupt the surrounding landscape but rather integrate harmoniously.

Thanks to the musical accompaniment of Anais Drago & Dario Napoli featuring Benji Winterstein, we enjoyed delightful moments of fun. In the second part of the evening, Riccardo Catria entertained us with his trumpet, arranging songs of various genres with soft and velvety sounds reminiscent of the greatest masters of jazz.
